Terms & Conditions
Effective August 15, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase and use of services provided by Camp Sniff LLC (“Camp Sniff,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By purchasing or enrolling in Camp Sniff services, you agree to these Terms and, where applicable, the Camp Sniff Participation Agreement accepted for your dog.
1. Camp Sniff Services
Camp Sniff provides small-group, nature-based Adventure Days for eligible dogs. Services may include door-to-door transportation, supervised outdoor exploration and enrichment, rest periods, and related care.
Approved campers may participate through:
- Individual Adventure Days — individually booked Adventure Days, subject to availability and appropriate group fit.
- Adventure Membership — a recurring weekly schedule of Adventure Days reserved for an enrolled camper.
Current service options and prices are published on our Pricing & Membership page.
Camp Sniff determines appropriate activities, locations, routes, group composition, rest periods, and other aspects of each Adventure Day based on weather, environmental conditions, camper needs, group compatibility, transportation, access, and safety.
Enrollment does not guarantee a particular park, beach, trail, activity, mileage, amount of off-leash time, group composition, or other specific experience.
2. Camper Eligibility & Participation
Participation is subject to Camp Sniff’s eligibility, vaccination, health, temperament, behavior, compatibility, and safety requirements.
Owners are responsible for providing accurate and current information regarding their dog’s health, vaccinations, behavior, temperament, medications, physical limitations, aggression or bite history, escape behavior, and other information that could reasonably affect participation or safety.
Acceptance into Camp Sniff does not guarantee continued participation. Camp Sniff may continually assess whether a camper remains appropriately suited to the program, activities, transportation environment, and group.
Knowingly withholding or materially misrepresenting information affecting health or safety may result in immediate suspension or discontinuation of services. Camp Sniff reserves any rights or remedies available under the Participation Agreement and applicable law in those circumstances.
3. Participation Agreement
Each camper must have a current Camp Sniff Participation Agreement accepted by an authorized owner or guardian before participating.
The Participation Agreement addresses matters including health and vaccination requirements, behavioral disclosures, transportation authorization, emergency veterinary care, assumption of risk, and Camp Sniff’s safety authority.
Accepting the Participation Agreement does not enroll your dog in Adventure Membership.
Adventure Membership requires separate enrollment and acceptance of the applicable Membership terms and recurring-payment disclosures.
The Participation Agreement and these Terms govern their respective subject areas. Camp Sniff’s applicable health and safety requirements control when an immediate participation or safety decision is necessary, to the extent permitted by law.
4. Booking & Payment
Individual Adventure Days are available to approved campers based on availability, transportation capacity, and appropriate group fit.
Current pricing is published on the Pricing & Membership page.
Individual Adventure Days are paid at the time of booking. A reservation is confirmed after successful payment and Camp Sniff’s confirmation of the Adventure Day.
5. Individual Adventure Day Cancellations
If you cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled Adventure Day, your payment will be refunded.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled Adventure Day are not ordinarily refundable.
If your dog becomes ill on the day of the scheduled Adventure Day, contact Camp Sniff as soon as reasonably possible. The Individual Adventure Day may be rescheduled rather than forfeited.
A missed Adventure Day without communication is not refundable or eligible for rescheduling.
The same-day illness rescheduling provision applies to Individual Adventure Days only. It does not create a make-up-day or credit entitlement for Adventure Membership.
Camp Sniff may make reasonable exceptions when circumstances warrant.
6. First Adventure Day Membership Credit
If your dog completes their first Individual Adventure Day and becomes an Adventure Member within seven (7) calendar days following that completed Adventure Day, Camp Sniff will credit the amount paid for that first Adventure Day toward the dog’s first Adventure Membership payment.
The credit applies only to the dog’s first completed Individual Adventure Day, has no cash value beyond the amount actually paid, and may not be combined with another first-day credit.
The Membership start date is the dog’s first scheduled Adventure Day as an Adventure Member, not the preceding Individual Adventure Day.
7. Enrollment & Automatic Renewal
Adventure Membership provides a recurring weekly schedule reserved for the enrolled camper.
Available schedules and current Membership prices are published on the Pricing & Membership page.
Before enrollment, Camp Sniff will disclose the applicable Membership price, billing frequency, initial commitment, automatic-renewal terms, and cancellation policy.
Enrollment requires affirmative acceptance of the applicable Adventure Membership terms and authorization of recurring charges.
Adventure Membership begins with an initial two-month commitment, consisting of two full Membership billing cycles.
After that initial commitment, Adventure Membership automatically continues month to month until canceled in accordance with these Terms.
Each Membership applies to one dog and may not be transferred to another dog or household. Each dog requires a separate Membership.
8. Membership Start Date, Billing & Reserved Schedule
Adventure Membership begins on the dog’s first scheduled Adventure Day as an Adventure Member.
That date becomes the dog’s Membership billing anniversary.
Membership is billed monthly in advance on the billing anniversary for the upcoming Membership period.
Membership reserves a recurring weekly schedule; it is not the purchase of a guaranteed number of Adventure Days during a calendar month.
The number of operating days in a particular Membership period may vary because of the calendar, planned Camp Sniff closures, weather or safety conditions, camper absences, and other circumstances described in these Terms.
Ordinary missed Membership days are not refunded, credited, prorated, or automatically made up.
9. Absence Protection
Adventure Members receive Absence Protection for qualifying planned full-week absences.
To qualify:
- the camper must miss a full week of their regular Camp Sniff schedule;
- Camp Sniff must receive at least 14 days’ advance notice; and
- the absence must otherwise satisfy the published Absence Protection policy.
Absence Protection may be used for up to four weeks during any rolling 12-month period.
For each qualifying week, the applicable published Absence Protection credit will be applied while the camper’s recurring schedule remains reserved.
Partial-week absences do not qualify.
Unused Absence Protection has no cash value.
An approved Medical Hold does not count against a camper’s Absence Protection allowance.
10. Medical Hold & Medical Cancellation
If an Adventure Member cannot safely participate because of a documented medical condition, injury, surgery, or recovery period, Camp Sniff may approve a Medical Hold for up to four weeks.
Appropriate veterinary documentation is required.
There is no Membership charge during an approved Medical Hold. Any applicable unused prepaid Membership amount will be credited or refunded as appropriate.
Before returning, Camp Sniff may require veterinary clearance confirming that the camper can safely participate. Camp Sniff will also reassess appropriate activity level, transportation and group compatibility.
Camp Sniff will make reasonable efforts to return the camper to an appropriate schedule or group, but the camper’s exact prior placement cannot be guaranteed.
If the camper remains medically unable to participate beyond the maximum Medical Hold, the owner may request Medical Cancellation with appropriate veterinary documentation.
When Medical Cancellation applies:
- the remaining initial commitment is waived;
- the normal cancellation-notice requirement is waived; and
- any unused prepaid Membership amount is prorated and refunded.
11. Membership Schedule Changes
Membership schedule changes are subject to capacity, transportation routing, group compatibility and program needs.
A schedule change does not restart the initial commitment or ordinarily change the billing anniversary.
A 4-Day → 5-Day upgrade is subject to availability. Any additional charge for the current Membership period may be prorated.
A 5-Day → 4-Day downgrade requires at least 30 days’ notice and is subject to establishing an appropriate recurring schedule.
The billing anniversary remains unchanged unless Camp Sniff expressly agrees otherwise.
12. Additional Adventure Days
Adventure Members may request Adventure Days beyond their recurring schedule.
Additional days are subject to availability and group fit and are charged at the then-current Individual Adventure Day rate.
Adventure Members receive priority for available additional Adventure Days over non-members seeking the same available capacity.
13. Planned Annual Closures
Camp Sniff is closed for regular Adventure Day service on:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
When a fixed-date holiday falls on a weekend, Camp Sniff does not automatically observe an additional weekday closure.
Planned closures are built into Adventure Membership and do not result in refunds, credits, make-up days, or prorated Membership fees.
Camp Sniff may publish an annual calendar identifying planned closure dates.
14. Weather & Safety Closures
Camp Sniff may cancel, shorten, relocate or modify Adventure Day activities when weather, environmental conditions or other circumstances make normal operations unsafe or inappropriate.
Examples may include severe heat, storms, flooding, wildfire conditions, unsafe air quality, hazardous roads, unsafe beach or trail conditions, or similar circumstances.
For an Individual Adventure Day that Camp Sniff cancels entirely for weather or safety reasons, the customer may receive a refund or reschedule.
For an Adventure Member, weather or safety closures do not ordinarily result in a refund, credit, prorated fee, or make-up day.
This policy allows Camp Sniff to make safety decisions without financial pressure to operate under inappropriate conditions.
15. Camp Sniff-Caused Cancellations
Operational cancellations within Camp Sniff’s responsibility—such as guide unavailability or a vehicle problem—are treated differently from weather and safety closures.
If Camp Sniff fully cancels an Individual Adventure Day, the customer may receive a refund or reschedule.
If Camp Sniff fully cancels a scheduled Adventure Member day for an operational reason within our responsibility, Camp Sniff will provide a $75 service credit for that fully canceled scheduled day.
The credit will ordinarily be applied to a future Membership charge and is not redeemable for cash except where required by law.
If a Camp Sniff-caused operational problem materially shortens an Adventure Day after service has already begun, Camp Sniff may provide an appropriate partial credit based on the circumstances, including the portion of the Adventure Day that was delivered.
16. Early Returns
If a camper has an important veterinary, grooming or similar appointment requiring an early return, please provide at least seven days’ advance notice whenever reasonably possible.
Camp Sniff will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request based on transportation routing and the day’s activities, but early return cannot be guaranteed.
An accommodated early return is to the camper’s normal approved return location unless otherwise agreed.
Early return does not result in a refund, credit or prorated Adventure Day or Membership fee.
17. Moving Outside the Service Area
Please provide Camp Sniff with at least 30 days’ notice of a planned move whenever reasonably possible so we can determine whether the new location remains within our service area.
If the new address cannot reasonably be served by Camp Sniff, the move may qualify for Membership cancellation even during the initial commitment.
Any unused prepaid Membership amount following the effective cancellation date will be prorated and refunded.
Unexpected moves will be considered based on the circumstances; inability to provide a full 30 days’ notice will not by itself prevent a legitimate service-area cancellation.
18. Member Cancellation
After the initial two-month commitment, consisting of two full Membership billing cycles, Adventure Membership may be canceled with 30 days’ notice.
A cancellation request may be submitted at any time, including during the initial commitment. Unless a qualifying exception applies, however, Membership will not terminate before the initial two-month commitment has been completed.
Camp Sniff will accept a valid cancellation request when submitted and determine the effective cancellation date from the date the request is received.
If the 30-day notice period crosses a billing anniversary, Camp Sniff may charge only the prorated amount necessary to continue Membership through the effective cancellation date rather than requiring another full Membership month.
Membership and the camper’s reserved schedule continue through the effective cancellation date unless otherwise agreed.
For Memberships enrolled online, Camp Sniff will provide an online method of cancellation consistent with applicable law.
19. Failed Membership Payments
If a recurring Membership payment fails, Camp Sniff provides up to seven days to resolve the outstanding payment.
If payment remains unresolved after seven days:
- the camper may not attend Camp Sniff;
- Membership services may be suspended; and
- the reserved recurring schedule may be released.
Payment after a spot has been released does not guarantee restoration of the previous schedule.
20. Changes to Membership Pricing
Camp Sniff may change Adventure Membership pricing from time to time.
Camp Sniff may provide members with an early courtesy notice when a future price change is known.
Any formal notice required by applicable automatic-renewal law will be delivered within the legally required notice period and will identify the applicable change and provide cancellation instructions.
A new price will take effect on a future billing anniversary and will not change a Membership period that has already been paid.
If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before the new price takes effect, even during the initial commitment.
In that circumstance, Membership may end before the new price becomes effective without an additional cancellation penalty or remaining commitment charge.
21. Failed Fit, Safety or Discontinued Participation
Camp Sniff may separate a camper, modify activities, change group placement, pause participation, or discontinue service when reasonably necessary to protect health, safety, welfare or appropriate program operation.
Relevant considerations may include physical capability, health, aggression, reactivity, compatibility, escape risk, transportation safety, significant behavioral or temperament changes, or other circumstances affecting the camper or group.
Safety decisions are made independently of a customer’s financial commitment.
If Camp Sniff permanently ends an Adventure Membership for health, safety, compatibility or program-fit reasons, the unused prepaid portion of Membership will be prorated and refunded, subject to any separate rights or remedies arising from a material owner misrepresentation or breach of the Participation Agreement.
Camp Sniff will not require a camper to continue participating merely because Membership has already been paid.
22. Death of Camper or Account Holder
If an Adventure Member dies, Membership may be ended immediately without the normal notice requirement or remaining initial commitment. Any unused prepaid Membership amount will be prorated and refunded.
If the account holder dies, an authorized representative may request immediate cancellation. The normal notice requirement and remaining initial commitment will be waived, and any unused prepaid Membership amount will be prorated and refunded.
Where another authorized owner or guardian wishes to continue the camper’s Membership, Camp Sniff may permit continuation after establishing appropriate account, payment, contact and authorization information.
23. Changes to These Terms
Camp Sniff may update these Terms from time to time.
For material changes affecting a customer’s financial obligations or Adventure Membership rights, Camp Sniff will generally provide at least 30 days’ advance notice and will include applicable cancellation instructions.
Changes reasonably necessary to comply with law, insurance requirements, or to protect the health or safety of campers, customers, guides or others may take effect sooner when reasonably necessary.
If, during the initial commitment, Camp Sniff makes a material change that increases the customer’s financial obligations or materially reduces an Adventure Membership benefit, the customer may decline the change and end Membership before the change takes effect without being responsible for the remainder of the initial commitment.
24. Membership Acknowledgments & Renewal Communications
Camp Sniff may provide enrollment confirmations, automatic-renewal disclosures, billing notices, renewal reminders, price-change notices, cancellation information and other Membership communications as required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to administer Adventure Membership.
Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information.
Where applicable law requires Camp Sniff to provide an acknowledgment, reminder, disclosure, or cancellation method, Camp Sniff will provide it in the manner required by law.
25. Communications & SMS
Operational communications may include pickup and return information, schedule changes, safety notices, payment notices, Membership notices and other communications reasonably necessary to provide requested Camp Sniff services.
Consent to receive marketing communications is separate from operational communications.
Consent to marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing Camp Sniff services.
SMS consent and marketing preferences are governed by the applicable consent disclosure and Camp Sniff Privacy Policy.
26. Pricing & Payment Processing
Current service and Membership pricing is published on the Camp Sniff Pricing & Membership page and/or clearly presented before purchase or enrollment.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Individual Adventure Days are paid at booking;
- Adventure Membership is billed monthly in advance;
- Membership charges recur using the customer’s authorized payment method; and
- applicable credits and refunds are handled according to these Terms.
Camp Sniff may use third-party payment processors to process payments.
Customers are responsible for maintaining an authorized payment method for recurring Membership charges.
27. Circumstances Beyond Camp Sniff’s Control
Camp Sniff is not responsible for a failure or delay caused by circumstances reasonably beyond its control, including natural disasters, wildfire, government orders, road closures, utility outages, public emergencies or similar events.
Where such circumstances affect an Adventure Day, Camp Sniff will apply the most appropriate closure, safety, refund or credit policy contained in these Terms.
Nothing in this section limits obligations that cannot legally be excluded.
28. Legal Limitations
Nothing in these Terms waives rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to eliminate Camp Sniff’s responsibility for conduct for which liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
The Participation Agreement contains additional provisions governing risks associated with dog participation, outdoor activities, transportation and group care.
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective to the extent permitted by law.
29. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights available under applicable federal, California, or local law.
